Ray of Sunshine

I had the privilege of teaching Erin in year 5, my first year teaching London. Erin was a ray of sunshine and that joy and warmth always stood out. It is not an exaggeration to say she always had a smile on her face and would light up the room. That beautiful smile and her fantastic sense of humour is the first thing that comes to mind when I think of Erin. She was always making me laugh and would go out of her way to do so. I was always impressed with her resilience and determination. She never backed down from a challenge and was determined to succeed. Erin was a loyal friend, a kind and popular member of the class and a child you never forget. It was an honour to be her teacher, watch her flourish and see her confidence grow. My heart and prayers go out to her to parents Donna and Paul and sister Dara. Lastly, I want to say thank you to Erin for being a true source of joy. Children like you are the reason I loved to teach, your enthusiasm for learning and positivity. Rest well beautiful Erin, Miss Jones.
